Stress

Stress for woodworkers can fluctuate depending on which part of the field you pursue. For example, if you're working as a wood cutter at a local Home Depot, chances are your days will be pretty straightforward and manageable. However, if you're working as a specialized craftsman creating custom pieces for showrooms or redesigning the homes of clients, you're going to have a bunch of stressful deadlines on your plate.

The same deal applies to the issue of taking work stress home with you. For those clocking in and out each day, they'll likely hang their problems next to their goggles when dinnertime rolls around. However, those running their own businesses often take their work home with them. Sometimes their office is their home.

That's not necessarily a bad thing, though. After all, if those deadlines aren't met or more clients aren't picked up, how will the family get fed?
