Famous Athletes

Bridget Sloan. Ms. Sloan is a former Olympian and one of only four freshmen to win the all-around title at the NCAA championships. That's Goblet of Fire glory.

Jamie Dantzscher. If you thought you were special, Dantzscher achieved over twenty-five perfect 10.0 scores during her UCLA career.

Courtney Kupets. She has a record nine NCAA titles and is the only person to ever win an all-around title along with every individual event.

Jenny Hansen. In 2006, Jenny here was named the most outstanding gymnast of the first twenty-five years in the NCAA. Kudos.

Sue Stednitz. She was the first NCAA all-around champion in 1982. Stednitz? More like Stud-nitz.

John Roethlisberger. He was a three-time Olympian and a three-time all-around champion at the NCAA level. Third time really is the charm, eh, John?

Sam Mikulak. He's a seven-time NCAA champion, and three of those championships come in the all-around.

Bart Connor. This guy won an Olympic gold medal in the team competition, in an individual skill, and in an NCAA all-around championship.

Joe Giallambardo. This guy was probably nicknamed Gymnastic Joe because he captured the first three NCAA all-around titles in 1938, 1939, and 1940. We can't even do the splits.

Jonathon Horton. We bet this Horton hears a record six NCAA titles and eighteen All-American honors. You go, Mr. Horton.
