- Hello again, split screen. This time we see Annie and Alvy at their respective therapists. Alvy takes up 75% of the screen.
- Alvy and Annie are both unhappy in the relationship. Chief among their complaints are that they don't have sex frequently enough (Alvy) and that they have sex too often (Annie)—although Alvy and Annie both agree that they have sex three times a week.
- Cut to Alvy and Annie on the couch at some friends' house. Their pals want them to try cocaine. Annie's game; Alvy's not.
- Alvy mentions that he's going to California to do a TV appearance. Wherever he is, Rob must be stoked.
- Alvy picks up the friend's box of cocaine, saying that he just doesn't understand the appeal. Then he sneezes and blows $2,000 worth of coke into the air. Whoops.
