- Inside, Alvy and Rob rip on the partygoers, and Alvy confesses that he thinks Tony Lacey has a thing for Annie.
- Tony gives Alvy and Annie a tour of his swanky pad. He talks smack about how dirty New York has gotten.
- Predictably, Alvy doesn't like Tony speaking ill of his hometown.
- Back at the party, Alvy talks to a couple of women, and Annie dances with Tony. Both look happy.
- On the plane ride home, we hear Alvy's and Annie's inner monologues. She really dug California. He had tons of fun flirting. They both want to break up.
- Finally, Annie says it: They should split. Alvy agrees. Alvy and Annie are officially done.
