The Yankee and the King Travel Incognito
- The Yankee cuts the king's hair so that he may better pass for a commoner, and then the two of them set out wearing peasant's gear.
- A group of nobles pass them while they are resting on the side of the road. The Yankee tries to convince the king to act with humility, but Arthur just doesn't roll that way.
- Arthur buys a dirk from smugglers for protection, despite the fact that peasants may no own weapons; Hank the Yank convinces him to throw it away.
- The Yankee and Arthur discuss the benefits of foretelling the future. The Yankee claims that he can see over thirteen centuries into the future… far more than Merlin ever could.
- As they continue wandering, they come across a number of knights-errant. Arthur wants to fight them, but the Yankee hustles him to the side of the road before he can act on it.
- The breaking point comes when a pair of knights almost run them down—Arthur yells at them, causing them to whirl and charge.
- The Yankee distracts the knights with insults, then tosses a bomb he's smuggled along on the journey. The bomb gets the job done, and the knights and their horses are killed in the explosion.
