- When she asks him if he found anyone else, he doesn't answer her. It doesn't look good…
- She tries to explain that her uncle came after her, but they haven't found anyone yet.
- The firefighter tells her that she has smoke inhalation and hypothermia from spending the night in the water. Other than that, she'll be fine.
- Pearl informs them Amiel saved her life and asks them to call her mom.
- They take her away on a stretcher, and start helping Amiel.
- He makes a bolt for it, though, and when the firefighters try to stop him, he runs toward the river.
- Pearl explains that he's running away from border patrol, then she and the firefighters head to the hospital.
