- The fellowship walks toward the mines. Gandalf warns Frodo of the Rings growing power and the threats of the outside world… and those within the fellowship.
- When they reach the entrance to Moria Gandalf can't remember the password.
- But Frodo discovers it's a riddle, and the doors open just in time for them to escape whatever was stirring in the water.
- Oh, never mind. Just as they realize Moria is a graveyard of dwarves killed by goblins, the thing in the water snags Frodo and tries to eat him as the rest of the company pull out swords and go to work on its tentacles.
- They rescue Frodo and head for the safety of the mines.
