Case description: Hatmehit, Hapi, Osiris, Sobek, and some other Egyptian gods brought a class action lawsuit against the government of Egypt for damming the Nile three separate times, and causing serious environmental damage.
Case status: The court found that there was environmental damage, but because the government is a sovereign entity, it cannot be sued. The case was dismissed.
