Homecoming Narrator:

Who is the narrator, can she or he read minds, and, more importantly, can we trust her or him?

Third Person (Limited Omniscient)

Homecoming is told by an unknown narrator, and we only get to experience things from Dicey's point of view. This is actually pretty perfect for this story because it puts us totally in Dicey's shoes. We can't know what other characters are thinking because the narrator doesn't tell us, and this means we have to figure things out along with Dicey. We can only see what she sees, and we get to feel the same weight that she does as she makes decisions that could mean life or death for her little siblings. One mistake and things could go very badly, so here's hoping.
