- At the Senate, Queen Padmé comes before the senators to state her accusations against the Trade Federation, but the Federation's senators object and request that a commission be created to examine the accusations.
- When the Chancellor asks if the Queen will defer her motion to allow a commission, she says she won't and moves for a vote of no confidence in the Chancellor.
