Josh
- Josh is hanging out with his skater friends at the half-pipe. After chatting with Chris McKellan, who owns the half-pipe (and is also extremely high), Josh and Tyson head out. Tyson says he has to go meet up with Kellan, who wants to talk—because seriously, the drama never ends with those two.
- As they pass the cemetery, Tyson asks Josh if they can stop quickly at his mom's grave.
- They enter, and Josh thinks about how this is where everything went wrong with Emma.
- Josh gets to thinking about how things have changed since that night six months ago… which triggers his memory of Emma heading suspiciously to the library after school.
- Oh no… If she's trying to change her future, she just might end up changing Josh's as well. Which isn't fair, because Josh loves his future.
- Josh quickly says goodbye to Tyson and runs to meet her at the library.
