Exactly how steamy is this story?

Even though the Golem is basically created to be a walking, talking sex doll, the book doesn't go in that direction. When she marries Michael, he's too much of a gentleman (read: sexually repressed) to get particularly frisky with her, so their bedroom dalliances are only hinted at and never explicitly described.
The Jinni is made of fire, and it may as well be the fires of passion. He seduces both Fadwa in the Desert and Sophia in New York—but again, the steamiest parts of their affairs are only hinted at and occur off page. Like Jeannie's belly button, the Jinni's antics are too hot to be seen.
