The Golem isn't a shriveled little man searching for his precious (that's Gollum, Shmoopers). It's a real (well, really mystical) supernatural creature from Jewish folklore. Golem means "shapeless mass" in Hebrew. (Source)

The jinn (that's plural of jinni) are beings of air or fire from Arabic mythology, popularized in A Thousand and One Nights. And none of them sound like Robin Williams. (Source)
