The Golem and the Jinni Theme of The Supernatural

Pop culture has moved beyond supernatural staples like ghosts, vampires, and zombies. Modern TV shows include clones, cyborgs, and succubi (succubuses?). Fantasy literature is moving along with the times, too. The Golem and the Jinni has foreign supernatural characters (the former from Jewish folklore, the latter from Arabian) right in the title. We don't feel like there's anything else we can learn about a werewolf or an alien, and since we want to be equipped for any supernatural encounter anywhere on the globe, we're grateful for the chance to broaden our knowledge.
