The Kill Order Theme of Courage

Warning: this book isn't for scaredy-cats.

Characters in The Kill Order tend to be pretty insanely brave, especially given the situations they're put in. (We think we'd probably cower in a corner.) Mark, Trina, Lana, Alec, Deedee—the list goes on and on, and every one of these characters displays a tremendous amount of courage.

It seems like the only way people survived after the sun-flares was through true grittiness or hiding behind the government. Which side would you pick?

Questions About Courage

  2. Does Deedee's courage seem a bit unnatural or unrealistic?
  3. Who is the most cowardly character or group of people? What's the most cowardly event that takes place?
