The Kill Order Theme of Morality and Ethics

To kill or not to kill… that is the question.

All right Hamlet. Easy there, big guy. So maybe that's not exactly what Hamlet said in his famous soliloquy, but that's what a lot of our characters are probably saying in their heads throughout The Kill Order.

Someone like Alec, on one hand, might be saying Kill now or kill later. But Mark, on the other hand, would be much more hesitant. We've already been through the morality of WICKED (more like immorality), but what about the ethical decisions our heroes have to make?

Questions About Morality and Ethics

  1. Was it ethical of Alec to kill the Toad?
  2. Did letting the Toad stay with Misty turn out to be a very immoral decision by the main characters? Could they have stopped him?
  3. Was the PFC's idea ultimately more ethical, seeing that it would be saving the world from overpopulation? Did the Flare just get out of hand? Were their true intentions actually ethical?
