Glory

Despite the ongoing struggles of doing so, the American farmer has helped feed the world for a long time. And guess what? Farm research scientists are a huge part of the reason why.

Sometimes farm research means working out some complicated set of protocols that help the farmers grow more food. Other times it means creating a simple device that collects and holds water at the roots of a fruit tree. It's often a little improvement that makes all the difference, and you're all about those little improvements.

Complicated or simple, it's a glorious thing for you. For commercial farming, your innovations keep people working. For individual farmers, your work enables the next generation of farmer to continue their business just like their parents, grandparents, and every family member before them.

Being a farm research scientist is about as American and glorious as apple pie. Seriously, who do you think helped grow those apples?
