Glory

While you're probably not going to be winning any awards or recognition any time soon (although you totally could), there's something pretty gee-el-oh-rious about being a fitness instructor. The entire purpose of this career is to help people get fit and stay fit, to improve overall health and spirit, and to extend life. The people who seek you out do it because they trust you, almost to the point where you become kind of a lifestyle guru/best friend/secret crush combination.

Those who recognize the importance of fitness often surround themselves with it, like house music at a rave. That may be why almost half of fitness instructors work somewhere other than a gym; people are expecting results throughout their lives, and you're the one they expect to get them there (source).
