Magician

Odds of Hanging On

Not everyone can hack it in magic, but thanks to Harry Potter and other incredible fantasy novels and shows, magic has been experiencing a cultural resurgence. Children's party magicians are certainly benefiting from the series.

More than anything, if you put the time in to practice your craft, create new routines, and perfect all of your illusions, you'll be in higher demand and will be better equipped to hang on.

Some people are naturally more talented at sleight of hand or misdirection, and others can talk a good game with the audience, but all of it takes hard work and lots of refining. The more you practice, the more seamless your tricks will become, until the most unbelievable part of your show is how much money you make from it.
