Glory

If fame is the way the world sees you, glory is what you see in the mirror. There are a thousand ways to gain glory as an obstetrician. The glory of successfully passing a life from the womb to its first successful breath of air might be enough for you. You can be proud of a life spent creating a healthy population or through educating mothers about good prenatal care. Maybe you help a mother quit smoking or you point the way for a young girl to take pregnancy as an opportunity to grow up and do good in her world. You may choose to speak up for the rights of men, women, children, and even whole populations overseas.
