Physical Danger

Physical Danger

Oncologists are on the go, so there isn't a lot of danger from sitting all day. The main danger zones for most medical types are the kind you spend lots of time in school learning to avoid. Accidental needle pricks or getting splashed with blood or other body fluids are great ways to put yourself in danger.

So, yeah, wear your gloves and other protective gear. It's not about fashion. It's about keeping germs in their place—away from you.

All this kind of tells you just how unrealistic horror movies are. The bad guys almost never wear rubber gloves or even wash their hands, but they never die from being infected by tainted blood. It does kind of explain Jason's whole hockey mask thing, though—that was probably more about self-preservation than anything. Kind of makes Jason seem like a forward-thinking zombie, doesn't it?
