If you hadn’t noticed, this fitness craze is sweeping the nation. You shouldn’t have any difficulty finding employment in a gym or other fitness facility, but the onus will still be on you to accumulate clients… and to keep them. If you’re just too darn nice (“Eh, you know what – you probably don’t need a Personal Trainer. You’re beautiful just the way you are.”), you’re going to have trouble getting by in the industry. Don’t forget – you’re part trainer, part salesperson. Don’t be afraid to ask, “What’s it going to take to get you into this elliptical machine today?”
