Odds of Getting In
As long as you've got the lack of fear required and can pass all of the qualifications in your state, becoming a professional pyrotechnician is fairly easy. It takes a certain person to want to do this, and if that's you, you've already won half the battle. You can increase your chances by getting degrees in engineering, electrical work, and related fields. Unfortunately, it's still not possible to get a Doctorate in blowing stuff up (even though it should be).
