You'll need at least a bachelor's degree and a teaching credential—and that's just to become a classroom teacher. While the requirements vary, you'll probably be looking at obtaining a graduate degree in education and an administrative credential as well.

From there the world is your educational oyster—kind of. While it would be nice to run a school right away, you might have to settle for another administrative role until you get yourself a little more experience.
