Stress

While you won't have the stress that a general medical practitioner might face on a daily basis, running from one client to the next, you'll probably find your work as a researcher just as stressful. The deadlines for research will pinch your time, which you already have spread newest-Macbook-Air-thin between the grant writing (because you're broke and haven't paid into your Roth IRA in years) and teaching duties (because you've accepted an academic post in a misguided effort to save a little money).

In other words, yeah, you're stressed.
