There is a lot of money in computers these days – however, product management is not at the apex of computer-related careers in that department.

The average salary for a WPM (not “words per minute” in this instance) is around 100k. A nice stack of cash, but considering the specialized knowledge you have of HTML5 combined with your business and marketing savvy, it ain’t much. The vast majority of WPMs make somewhere between 85k and 115k.

Of course, you’re a pro when it comes to uploading that PayPal “Donate Now” button; maybe you can get a bunch of complete strangers to pony up some extra bucks so you can afford that new Lexus you’ve had your eyes on. Sounds like a good cause to us.
