Acquire and use accurately grade-appropriate general academic and domain-specific words and phrases; gather vocabulary knowledge when considering a word or phrase important to comprehension or expression.

This Common Core Standard pretty much summarizes everything else the student should have learned in sixth grade. As long as sixth graders know some sixth-grade vocabulary and how to figure out the definition of new words, they'll have this standard covered.
