You overslept the day you were supposed to take the SAT and missed the test. No matter how talented you are, it's hard to play college basketball if you don't get into college. 

Height: 6'2", Stats: 10 points per game, 6 rebounds, GPA: 2.7

You were a terrific sixth man on your high school squad, but your team could never make it out of districts. You don't have the height to play your natural position at the D-I level, but if you're serious about your sport, you can always try to walk on at a smaller program.

Height: 5'8", Stats: 12 points per game, 14 assists, GPA: 3.8

You're a great ball handler and passer. In fact, you're the star of your high school team. You went to a tiny high school, though, and you've been ignored by scouts. Your height (or lack thereof) will make your transition to the college level difficult. At least your smarts can get you a diploma.

Height: 5'10", Stats: 16 points per game, 12 rebounds, GPA: 3.0 

You're undersized for your position, but you've created a good rapport with the coaches. They know who you are and what you can do. Your classes and grades are in order. Now, it's time to prove yourself. Do it for the guy in Space Jam.

After winning conference player of the year, you have been added to the all-state team. Because of your athletic ability and solid academic standing, you've been offered scholarships to several respectable D-I programs. March Madness, here we come.
