- Godzilla emerges from the sea, and the military open fire. It's about as effective as you'd expect.
- There's panic as people evacuate.
- Yamane tries to inform the commanding officer not to shine search lights on Godzilla as they will only make him angrier (because it's very shy about its figure?).
- No luck. The soldiers won't let him pass and can't leave their post to deliver a message.
- A train speeds ahead. The driver somehow doesn't notice the building-tall monster ahead and smashes the train into Godzilla's foot.
- The survivors watch in horror as Godzilla steps on the remaining cars and destroys a nearby bridge. It's a stomp-fest.
