First Person (Central Narrator)
Mitch is our master and commander, the dude not only telling us the story, but telling us his story as it actually happened to him. It's as first-person as books get, with I's all over the pages. He's a considerate narrator, though, so he does stop here and there to give us some background information, mostly about Morrie. For the most part, though, this is Mitch's story through and through.
