Foil: Cullen and Gabriel Witter

They may love each other fiercely and get along better than most siblings, but Cullen and Gabriel Witter are very different people. Whereas Cullen is pessimistic, moody, and dissatisfied with his lot and geographic location in life, Gabriel is optimistic, sees the best in people, and is perfectly happy living in Lily. This is part of the reason that Gabriel's disappearance affects Cullen the most of all—it's as though he's lost the yin to his yang.
