Sorry to burst your bubble, or harsh your mellow, but if you want the tabloid spotlight, becoming an appraiser probably isn't the best way to get it. In appraiser circles, fame is more likely limited to the local paper because you're chairing a committee to raise money for a dog park in town...or because you discovered some interesting local history while researching a property title.
