Odds of Hanging On
It's pretty much up to you how long you want to keep hunting. It may be tough to make a living at it, depending on where you live and how skilled you are as a hunter. However, there are tons of men and women who are the weekend warrior types. They hunt on the weekends and take vacations in winter to hunt and fill their freezers for the coming year.
It's also good exercise, provides lots of fresh air and sunshine, and is a great way to meet other hunting enthusiasts. As long as your body doesn't give out after a squillion early mornings and your interest doesn't fade, you should be good to go for a long, long time.
