Stress

The life of a hunter/trapper is more of a calling than a job. The people who choose this career do it because they couldn't imagine being happy anywhere else. A corner office with a generous expense account and six-figure paycheck just plain doesn't appeal. Strange? Maybe. But their stress levels are envious.

To work outside in all kinds of weather, wake before the sun even thinks about getting up, and spend hours stalking and tracking your prey, you have to absolutely adore what you do for a living. This is pretty much the case for hunter/trappers. Stress isn't much of an issue for them, because they're doing what they love best.

Think how it must feel to earn a living from your passion. Not much to stress over there. Unfortunately for most of us would-be beach bums, singers, and armchair football coaches, we haven't figured out how to make a living in one of those plum positions. We keep hearing things about needing more talent. But, that's another story.

Where were we? Oh, yes—stress for the hunter/trapper types. No job is stress-free, so you should definitely watch out for it; but unless you have to relocate a bunch of alligators, your stress levels should be fairly low on this job.
