The only power you have in this profession is the power to touch lives. (Let that sink in for a moment. Need a tissue?) Seriously, though, occupational therapists aren't interested in being the leader of the pack. You'll have to be the boss sometimes, but it's more for the patient's own good than to prove you're the alpha. The occupational therapy code of ethics puts a damper on any wannabe dictators, so if you're that type, you may prefer Wall Street.
