Brokeback Mountain Scene 12 Summary

  • Years pass, and Ennis and Alma have two children. Two loud, screaming, sticky children.
  • It's harder taking care of them than it is wrangling sheep. But at least neither of the girls get gutted by a coyote atop a mountain.
  • Alma wonders if they can move to town, but Ennis says it's too expensive in town.
  • She's found a nice place over the laundromat. Cheap. Nice. Convenient coin-op dryers. Smells like Snuggle fabric softener all day. Paradise.
  • Alma wants to make love, but Ennis flips her over.
  • Hmm. Seems like there's trouble in paradise.
