Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom Scene 22 Summary

  • The bridge splits in half. They don't make bridges like they used to.
  • Guards plummet into the crocodile infested waters below.
  • Indy, Willie, and Shorty are clinging to the bridge.
  • Kind of like how an escalator becomes stairs when it's broken, a bridge becomes a ladder after snapping in two.
  • Mola Ram is hanging on right next to Indy, and he tries to pull Indy's heart out.
  • It doesn't work. Indy grabs Mola Ram's fist and punches him with it. Stop hitting yourself, Mola Ram.
  • But old M.R. is a fast climber.
  • Indy pursues him, but Mola Ram orders his guards to fire their arrows.
  • They're about as good with bow and arrow as Stormtroopers are with laser guns, and they miss every shot.
  • Mola Ram falls off the bridges and catches hold near Indy.
  • He tries to get the stones back, but Indy begins to chant and the stones light on fire and burn through the bag.
  • Mola Ram tries to catch one. Bad idea, bud, when you're supposed to be hanging on.
  • He falls into the water and is torn apart by crocodiles.
  • These reptiles won't have to eat for another week.
