Character Analysis
Graham is Emma's boyfriend—well, until she dumps him, that is. She describes him as "sexy" but "clingy" (1.41), and when Emma dumps him, he's super nice about it. He tells her: "I'm not going to try to change your mind. We always said we were going to keep things low-key" (32.25). So we'll add sticks to his word to Graham's list of qualities, too. Emma definitely could've done worse than spending time with this guy.
