Character Analysis
Reverend Johnson is the Reverend at Aibileen and Minny's church. He plays a big role in maintaining the support system the church provides to the black community in Jackson. He sanctions and honors the book Help, as well as Aibileen and Minny's contribution to it. He also opens his arms to Skeeter for her work on the book.
