Big machinery and pesticides have the potential to be dangerous. Not all wholesale nurseries have a preponderance of big machinery, and some may even load their plant material onto trucks by hand without the use of simple fork lifts. Others need rather big fork lifts to move large boxed trees or even field grown trees. Physical danger is really variable, and relevant to the particular operation. Just be careful where you’re going so you don’t get forked.
