When it comes to middle school, seventh grade is the forgotten middle child. No longer a newbie, not yet a veteran, but always overshadowed. It's no wonder that sometimes, seventh grade can't help but feel downright unimportant.
But not here. Not if math has anything to say about it.
The Grade 7 math standards contain some of the most crucial middle school math concepts like understanding proportionality, working with rational numbers, solving equations and inequalities, and work with multiple data distributions. They'll sharpen students' minds and broaden their mathematical toolboxes. Metaphorically, of course.
