About Common Core Math Standards

Ah, eighth grade. It's that perfect age where students' sarcasm can pack a punch, but still can't quite seem to pack their own lunch. Yeah, we're perplexed by it, too. In this angst-ridden time of confusion (blame the hormones), we're here to offer a little clarity—at least in the math neck of the woods.

The Grade 8 standards in mathematics focus distinguishing rational and irrational numbers, reasoning with expressions and equations, understanding functions, visualizing movements in two- and three-dimensional space, and making use of bivariate data. Thrilling, we know.
