Kerri Walsh-Jennings. Even if you know nothing about sand volleyball, you've still probably seen Kerri Walsh-Jennings play. After attending Stanford on an indoor volleyball scholarship, she went on to win the Olympic gold…three times. And she did this with her equally amazing sand volleyball partner…

George Bush meets two of the most powerful women ever.

Misty May-Treanor. Before teaming up with Walsh-Jennings and bringing home three Olympic gold medals, she actually competed against her future teammate while attending Long Beach State. Nowadays, the two compete together in the AVP.

Ron Von Hagen. This guy was a legend back in the 1960s. After attending UCLA, Hagen and his partner, Ron Lang, won a ridiculous 22 pro tournaments—15 of which were between 1966 and 1968. Hagen also finished in the top three in 54 straight tournaments. He's now in the CBVA Beach Volleyball Hall of Fame.
