The glory of the silver screen is nothing compared to the immortality of the Monopoly Man, the Candy Land people, the stout little cuties from Parcheesi. Now Alexander is part of the club. The Kennedy Center came up with their own Alexander board game to promote the stage production tour back in 2000-2001.

Alexander is actually based off of Judith Viorst's real-life son. Maybe her ambivalent approach to bad days paid off, because he seems to be doing pretty well for himself. (Source)
