Mad Max: Fury Road Scene 7 Summary

  • We cut to the road. A bunch of tricked out cars are speeding through the desert. They're all weaponized, clearly ready to take down Furiosa.
  • Max is strapped to the front of Nux's roadster, and he's wearing a metal muzzle, attached by a chain/blood line to Nux. He sees his car, which they took from him, speeding out in front.
  • "How much more can they take from me?" he asks. "They've got my blood, now it's my car."
  • It's all very exciting. The camera swoops over the convoy, and we see war boys banging war drums, and even a kick-butt metal head playing a flaming guitar. Yeah, this is not your grandma's war party. Not that you're grandma ever had a war party, but just saying.
  • Immortan Joe is traveling with the convoy, and Nux gets excited when he turns to look their way. It's like he's seen the Pope going by in the Pope Mobile—if the Pope were a maniacal warlord with a skull mask on his face.
  • From above, we see the war convoy shooting off multicolored flares.
  • It's about to go down.
