- The girls are shocked, and Tutor Olana is devastated, saying that the girls must have failed to polish themselves up enough in the past year—now they have to study and work harder.
- As Miri's sitting outside, Peder appears out of nowhere and asks her if the prince chose her. When she says that he's coming back, he assumes that she's disappointed and gets upset—so he runs off, telling her that he hopes that she gets what she wants.
- Then something else happens—Miri hears a strange sound and gets a message through quarry-speech. Esa is telling her to run. Oh no… What's happened back at the academy?
