Odds of Getting In
It's not just about having faith, okay, George Michael? But it is kind of that simple. It's such a great time to be a priest, because there aren't many others in the world who want to be one. There are many Catholics in the United States, and more just keep coming. In fact, the Catholic population in the U.S. right now is over 65 million. Meanwhile, there are less than 40,000 priests. You do the math. (No, seriously. Do the math. We're going to sit this one out.) We have a mega priest-shortage right now. If you're qualified, you're in. Amen.
