Northrup Grumman Engineering Scholars

Who's Eligible: High school seniors seeking an engineering degree in college

Award Amount: $2,500 per year, renewable for up to four years

Due Date: February 4

Northrup Grumman will be happy to help you foot your college bills, but only if you qualify and live in certain parts of the country. Heavy emphasis is given to students who live in or outside the Baltimore area, but awards are available for specific counties in other parts of the country. Head here for a list of eligible locations. Candidates also must have at least a 3.5 GPA and a combined SAT score of 1700 or an ACT score of 27. The bright spot is that the award comes with not one, but two internships at Northrup Grumman and the award is renewable if the winner maintains a 3.0 GPA or higher.
