Who's Eligible: African-American high school seniors

Award Amount: Up to $10,000 per year, renewable for up to 4 years

Due Date: January 9


Students must have demonstrated financial need to win this award, but those who do can land a fat check, renewable for all four years of school. This scholarship program is looking for the typical fare (high academic achievement, community leadership, volunteer activities, etc.) and candidates should be prepared to be interviewed by a panel of judges before winning the prize. Applicants who apply before November 1 will also be considered for additional award opportunities so get your application in early.
