One of the weirder scholarships programs out there, Scholarshippoints.com requires candidates to earn points by completing online activities including taking short quizzes, testing out online games, reading blogs, and taking opinion surveys. By earning Scholarship Points currency, they receive free entries into various $1,000-$10,000 scholarship drawings. Your grades, financial need, and test scores will not factor into your chances of winning at all, but how long you stay plugging into the site will. (It feels a little bit like a marketing gimmick but the money seems real.)
